I have been taking my GSD Sasha to Sapphire Dog Training for a while now. Sharon is a fantastic trainer, she takes her time to get to know you & your dog first which I think is really important. Her knowledge of dogs & their behaviour is unprecedented. She has always been able to guide & advise me with any issues I have had with my Sasha. I have absolute faith in her ability to help me to train my dog! Sasha can’t wait to go training on a Monday evening & will wait by the front door from about 7pm. Training doesn’t start until 9pm!!

With three Greyhounds- all with very different personalities and manners!! Sharon is respect of the precious needs and adapts the training around them. Lovely lady who is also in control of the cheeky men in the room along with the dogs.

My girl had a traumatic experience at a training class before coming here, shes a reactive dog anyway, but tonight was here first class at sapphire and she did really well, instructors have been supportive in supporting/advising with her needs.

Sharon, our trainer obviously loves and understands dogs. Their behaviour is second nature to her and she seems to be able to correct most wrongs, just by talking to dog and owner and passing on her expertise. She never raises her voice to dogs or owners but can make good behaviour come naturally to the dogs thereby putting the handlers at ease, which in turn puts the dogs at ease. She teaches dogs from puppies as soon as they are able to socialise and can continue through three stages up to competition stages. My advice to anyone in the area who wishes to do obedience is to contact Sharon. She will be only too pleased to help you as a member of the Sapphire dog obedience club”

I was struggling with my dog indoors jumping up every time I went upstairs /came home he would go loopy. I messaged Sharon and arranged a home visit. She was fantastic and during her time with me, i felt more in control and he was much calmer. When i came in tonight, i was able to get him to sit and stay... i am so impressed with the improvements already... first day. Thank you Sharon. I would recommend her as she is very knowledgeable and offered advice on treats, food, collars, training. Worth every penny!
